Internationally renowned violinist Tasmin Little brings her breath-taking virtuosity to Beethoven’s violin concerto, opening this spectacular evening of music making in aid of Save the Children's Syria Crisis Appeal. The second half sees over 200 performers on stage as Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra join forces with two of Bristol's flagship choirs, the City of Bristol Choir and Bristol Choral Society, and stellar cast of world class soloists to perform Beethoven's Symphony No.9 (Choral Symphony), whose epic symphonic journey culminates in the visionary finale featuring the famous choral setting of Friedrich Schiller's "Ode to Joy."
