Verdi's Requiem, a powerful and moving piece that is perhaps one of the best-loved pieces in the choral repertory, will be performed at High House Production Park in Thurrock on 3 and 4 July.

The Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus and Brighton Festival Chorus will join forces with two outstanding professional French orchestras – Orchestre de Picardie and L’Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne – in what will be 2  unique performances conducted by Arie van Beek.  Jette Parker Young Artist Michel de Souza, and former Young Artists Monika-Evelin Liiv, Anita Watson and James Edwards are the soloists for this challenging and powerful. 

This will be James’ 51st Performance of the Verdi Requiem. Recent perfoemances have Included Wexford Opera House, National Concert Hall in Dublin and Brangwyn Hall Swansea and St Pauls Knightsbridge, London.
