Puccini’s visceral depiction of love and power in the midst of political terror, is directed by award-winning Blanch McIntyre, new to opera but fresh from some revelatory work in the theatre. A trio of powerful UK artist are lined up for the diva, the artist and the chief of police, so it is sure to be a night of passion.
